first off I’m not here to argue I’m here to share knowledge of my experiences and too learn from others. if I can help someone great! If not at least I gave it a shot.. with that said now I feel like I have to explain my last few comments. I said he was wrong about companies and their safety standards and compliance to the FMCSA rules and regulations. in my experience most company DM’s push blame on drivers rather then admit wrong doing, also I’ve worked for a few that give two sh.ts about safety so long as the load is off their dock and in route. I was referring to the current financial situation of YRC when saying he’s right.

Guys. Terminals can be VERY different within companies. You always need to talk to the local drivers before you make a decision.

ABF is a GREAT company...at most terminals. Not my former terminal. Lol

So yeah. Find what works for you, and go do it.

Fair enough, but were you talking about Saia? I couldn't find anything on a trucking company called Salsa.

I didn't realize how bad American salsas are until I met my father in law, who's from central Mexico. There are levels to that game. Chile peppers are blessed.

You can either be a glass half full guy. Or a glass half empty guy. It’s all on how you make it. I’ve seen guys at Saia that seem like they never have a bad day in their life. I’ve seen guys that kick, stomp, and yell at everything kicked their way at Saia.

Oh I agree and true at most companies, both the people I know were swallowed up in a saia buyout and now push 90k a year ...I never hear them complain about that .lol
