Lol......this industry is full of folks who don't bathe or shave. Make those two things mandatory and there would be a REAL Driver shortage. I would love to see the "Schneider Handbook" policy on facial hair! Really???

I grew a beard once. Hated it and have remained, for the most part, clean shaven. Always attracting grease and dirt, food getting caught in it. Irritates the front of my neck a lot too.

Beards are not a problem with food service tankers. But for chemical tanker like Schneider most of them won't allow them. Many of the plants won't let you in with one either.austinmike, homeskillet and Socal Xpress Thank this.

At the copper smelter, no beards. You have to be able to wear a respirator/ gas mask. Just in case...........
