Pollution mainly, excessive noise is a real issue with these engines. Fuel consumption can be fixed with the DDEC system, which they expiramented with on the Silver 92s

So long as I could find and understand the wiring diagrams for DDEC systems I'd have no problem converting to EUI, that fixes a lot of the issues you mentioned.

It's up to you. A 6V92 probably gets around 5 miles to the gallon. You are putting 2 of those engines together. So figure maybe half the mileage?

Unless you have some kind of serious detailed plan within a niche with strong contacts that you know exactly what your going to be doing and fuel mileage is not an issue, it would be much better to look at something else. The electronics for the 2 stroke will not solve the fuel mileage problem. It may put a band-aid on it but it's not going to get you 6 miles to the gallon. So my point is unless you have very specific something you use that truck for you won't be able to use it for anything else. And don't get me wrong I am a big fan of the 2 stroke Detroit.

Now there are 700 horsepower Big Cams or N14 or series 60 or whatever that will get you 5 and a 1/2, 6 miles to the gallon or more.

Cool project, but Not very practical Except maybe for a very few limited conditions.

Man I’m sorry but if you had to ask what a RGN is, hauling equipment probably isn’t for you

I understand what a gooseneck trailer is, I asked because I had never heard it called that before.

This is an exercise in futility.

Clearly you won’t come to the same conclusion on your own, without significant assistance: I’m just here to help.

I believe the only conclusions he will come to are his own.

An electronic 12v. 2000 torque. Highway application. Bearings every 100,000 miles maybe?

There's LOTS of folks with LOTS of experience doing what you plan to do.

NONE of them are driving anything like you are thinking of building.

Think about that for a while.
