If I knew how to do videos I’d share one from our sorghum making this year. My buddy added one of my videos to a FB page for sorghum....

Sittin here in swaan River MN. At a little fuelstop. Parked on some very packed slick snow. Bout 15 minutes later I moved forward bout 3ft. Then again 15 minutes later. Walked in and had a fantastic bowel of chilli and grilled chesse samich. Sittin there a fellow behind me ask why I pulled up two times like I did. Told him have you ever parked warm tires on cold snow and find out yer stuck in the morning ? He grinned and said "i knew it!" I asked know what ? He said "yer old school". Felt kinda proud and old at the same time !

Works on thin asphalt on a hot summer day too. Or thin to my liking.

Had @Lostkeys make his way down and come by the shop. Work production was slow today. But the BS in high gear and top notch. Thanks buddy!

So Hickhub is now my favourite Youtube channel. If I need to explain, you're not redneck enough.

KIMG0047.jpg The G. 413 cubic inch 2 cylinder. 4 bolt connecting rods with shims between the caps and rods for adjusting bearing clearance.
It was purchased from a neighbor that had it in his barn. He was working on an overhaul and came across a steel of a deal on another tractor. He had all the new parts but it had been left there several years. It is under an A ? H ? frame ( engine lift ) my brothers and I made. Yes that was an active power pole on the far side. The lawn chairs on the right are actually a crankshaft polishing machine. You just cannot see the third lawn chair and the rest of the crank. It had rusted pretty bad in storage.
Dad was working out of town, sometimes for weeks at a time. Mom ( all 110 Lbs of her ) helped me work the old crank out and the new crank in by hand. I was probably 15 and did the rest myself.
He sold it years later while i was working out of town. We had words that ended with " Well GD I bought the SOB! Probably part of the reason I moved to Georgia.
Pictures bring back memories. Some are good and some are bad.

That kettle is for sittin on the wood stove. Fill with water and just set it up on top. It will humidify the air and keep static down as well as help keep your eyes from drying stuck open.

Seems a little high for sure.

If you should get by Aurora, OH. You could pick things up.
