    Hey guys,

Looking to get out of North Dakota and get closer to home ( AZ )

I've recently spoke to a hiring manager over at Clean Harbors about a position as a O/O with their company.

Has anyone had any experience with them?

All they require is bobtail insurance, workers comp, fuel and apportioned plates - everything else is covered.

Seeing if it would be worth it to make a change.

I've left them some 2 yrs ago. When I started they've payed $1.13 a mile plus decent fsg. Didn't get a raise for almost a decade. But they had plenty of work so I've stayed. We used to be able to get unladed ahead of outside carriers at their facilitates. Not anymore. Plenty of waiting ( days) in Eldorado Ar.
    Huge corporation, HUGE bureaucracy.

I’ve worked as a outside carrier with them. They move at the speed of a glacier , so everything takes forever.......

We made good money when we hauled for them. But I’ve got no idea what it’s like to be leased to them..........

the $1.17 rate that was posted blows ,,,,,,,

Yeah, they told me it was 1.18 / mile + 0.27 FSC and I almost crapped my pants! How do you even make money at that rate.... maybe if they supplied a fuel card.

If they paid for everything yes but we know how that goes. 2 cents more than a company driver when you're done or is it $0.02 less than a company driver:rolleyes:o_O

That’s really strange because as a outside carrier their loads paid well. We just got the overflow when their trucks couldn’t handle it......tho
