    Week before.7.87 last wk doing strictly 65. 30k 3 times. 2x 43k coming back. This fill up i wanted to see the difference on paper running 71-72 compared to 65mph

    6.6 running mostly 70-72mph and this time loaded one way (171mi) and coming back empty 171 miles. 30k for loaded wt

    Interesting you would mention that. This is my dad with a 58 Plymouth. He said the 350 big block was a $400 option ( More than he paid for the G ). That was a lot of money back then and not many of them were made. Said the folks with the Cadillacs and Lincolns could not stand it when a Plymouth pulled up in the left lane. They would have to stand in it. Said he could ease on the pedal and wave good by. KIMG0042.jpg

    If u got the patience , drop it to 55 . Bet u could get 8 all day long. I did 8.6 az to pa load couple trips ago 55 all the way with about 15k onthe deck... coming back oh to ca load 7.8 with 48k on deck.. Az to ct load was at 7.3 , but was about 40k on the deck and we hit some strong winds. Nj to or load 30k was 5.9 after ridiculous wind thru sd ... we was at 7.2 before we hit that wind, never was able to recover. Oh well. Im trying for this year total at 7.5 ... last year was 6.3 .... But was running 70 until we decided to experiment in september...
