    Hey guys!
    I am going to relocate my family's staff from NYC to Chicago via box truck bellow 26000lbs. Specs in the image bellow. Anyway, I hold cdl a, and given this is a personal use of rental truck, should I do some sort of recording a log book? If you say yes or no,could either way elaborate?

    Are you working at the direction of a motor carrier or doing any compensated work for a non motor carrier?
    Since it sounds like both questions are No then you are doing a personal move and don't have to log anything.
