Hey, I have spent the past hour or so on this site looking at all the comments and threads on CRST Expedited training. Let me say...not good stuff.
Anyway, I am due to go to CDL training in two weeks with CRST, but after reading everything, I am having second thoughts. I live in Los Angeles.
Aside from signing my life away for a year with CRST and the clear lack of communication within the company and lousy pay for new drivers, any recommendations on other decent schools that offer CDL training.
*Yes, I can google but considering this seems to be a much better source of honesty than a company's site and a recruiter, I am humbly asking you all*
    Thanks

    austinmike Thanks this.

@Chinatown can help. With CRST if you quit before your year is up they will do anything they can to keep you from getting another driving job. Have you talked to Swift?

If you're looking for a good starter company. Go with Stevens transport. Not great pay. But great training. Plus no teams required.

Crusty will require that you sign a non compete clause contract.

This means that YOU will owe THEM should you decide to quit or are terminated before your indentured servitude period of one year has passed.

Don't sign any contracts with any company. This a big red flag.

If your driving record is clean, meaning no moving violations for the past three years, and you are willing to travel, give Wilson Logistics a call.

Swift would be a more suitable option for training than Crusty or C.R. England.

Western Express is also a company that will treat you like dirt. Those with criminal records tend to find themselves at Western Express.

I'd be happy to answer any further questions you may have.
