Anyone ever work for CR England and work a local account? They have an opportunity in Maryland for 50cpm, dry van and reefer, 1800 miles weekly average, $15 per stop, and 10-20 stops per week. Pallet unloading with pallet jack also.

Sounds good on paper but just trying to see if anyone has any knowledge on them.

I see CR England trucks often close to my home, delivering to Sam's Club. Looks like drop & hook at Sam's Club.

They made sure to mention that there is pallet unloading involved. I think this is a dedicated Lidl account

Pulling pallets off is no problem; I've done that many times a Walmart, Target, K-Mart.
I was OTR and sometimes get one of those loads; maybe whichever company had that account couldn't cover the load for some reason.

Hmmm.... might have a winner here then. They said average pay is $1200/week. Only area of concern is going to Staten Island, New York

CRE, from everything I have read and learned from their drivers, is singularly the worst mega carrier out there.

Please research them. From all that I have heard, if you had choice between working for them or going to jail for 6 months, I'd recommend the county joint!

might be a bait and switch position.

you get hired and then, oh, that contract fell through. here's an OTR route until we get another one.

    and they never do.

That bad huh? Been wondering how this job has been available for so long. Been seeing so many posts about it. Probably is too good to be true. My luck, I'd probably get stuck going to NY everyday.

Yes, get it in writing that this is the job you are applying for. At least you would have something.
