Well I figure if the 308 was good for the military in the past several wars and Carlos Hathcock in Vietnam, then #### it it’s good still :D The 6.5 is just the new kid on the block and I would’ve gotten 308 myself if they had it, but I plan on owning just about every caliber there is so whatever lol

P.S. Oh wait, Carlos used a 30-06 in his Winchester Model 70, but either way! I was looking at a model 70 the same day I got my AR thinking of him but it was in 338 Winchester Magnum, more of a safari rifle

My truck is throwin those ####in def codes like a stripper and lollipops; I told them I’m gonna get it looked at after I pick up this next load; I wonder if it could be the filter like @D.Tibbitt said, knew I should’ve gone to ITT Redneck Institute

U need to get that to the shop ASAP, so they could pull the codes.... It could just be a filter . But a 40% derate is no good. That will put u on the side of the highway .... Hard to tell without seeing what the code numbers are... could be pump or doser injector as well if ur getting def and scr problems at the same time..

I’ve reported it twice but this time I’ve had enough lol I think the two guys I hung out with the last time my truck was in the shop for a pm had the same problem; they just run these trucks into the ground from what it sounds like

243 with 100 gr Noslers is real good round. The .243 is really under rated in my book. The long range rifle of my choice though is a full floated heavy barreled 7mm Rem Mag, sighted dead on at 400 yards. The rifle I've shot the most deer with though over the years>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Win 94 30-30......

A 40% torque derate means u lose 40% of whatever torque ur engine has until the code gets cleared... and it will only get worse from there..... U should still have full speed but as soon as u hit any hill , its gonna fall on its face even worse than it already does .
