Second guessing myself on a semi 5th wheel

Sad story but, there is no law that says a "certified " shop has to do the work. I held an enhanced inspection license here in Pa. the only time you need an enhanced inspection is after a vehicle was declared a total loss and rebuilt. I know guys that extended frames for years and never any issues

That's what I don't understand. You can cut and extend the frame on a tractor with no intervention by the DOT , but if you modify a trailer it needs a recertification.

 

Nobody went to the moon. Let’s get over that one and quit using it as a shining example of how awesome we are.

 

They didn't? You sure. Oh well, been lied to before. Guess it is good I'm getting used to it what with the coming changes in government.

 

There’s some pretty damning evidence suggesting they didn’t, but no of course I’m not sure.
