    Hey guys,
So I am installing a Jake Brake on a Cummins M11 Celect Plus engine. I have the ECM pin layout that is in the 411 Jake Brake installation. But since I am not the greatest with the wiring end of things, how would I locate these wires? I know that even though this engine did not come with a Jake, it should have the wires coming off the ECM into the cab, correct? I know because of the clutch and brake switch, and the electronic fuel pedal that it needs to be wired up correctly. And it does have cruise control. Can anyone help me with how I would find the wires to wire this up correctly? Sorry. 1999 International 8100.

The diagrams do not show engine brake wiring for ISM or M11 engines, only N14, so I'll try by best. If you pull out the cluster and fish around in the dash, the empty plug connectors might by there somewhere. There will be two and will be labeled. One is ON/OFF the other is brake level selection. Then that way you just need to find switches, knock out a couple holes and program your engine. To see if the truck was built with the wiring, check the bigger octagon shaped connector at the firewall. Check cavity M for wire 24AF, gray, and cavity N for wire 24AE also gray in colour.

    062 Thanks this.

The wiring should be the same as I have put an M11 ECM on an N14 as a test computer. Mine were both IHC's. Idle RPM and some other things were out of wack. I would wire it up and try it first but HD said " and program your your engine ".
Let us know how that goes.

Ok gonna give that a try. I have a guy that is helping me install the jakes but has not shown up for the last couple days. He took both the rocker assemblies off. So if this guy dont show back up then I have to complete the job, which I feel confident I can do. But i have another thread on here that I cannot find and marks on the access pulley to adjust the valves and injectors. I am going to try again tomorrow and clean the crap out of it and hope I find it. But if not, I am trying to find out how to adjust valves and injectors if the marks are not on the pulley.

Ok yeah I just meant I started another thread about how to adjust valves without having the A, B, C marks on the pulley. Still waiting to hear if someone could walk me thru it. Not sure how to find the starting point to start adjusting.
