As far as TQL's thinking regarding truckers, I think that feeling is mutual. I hear more horror stories about TQL than anything good, although I'm sure that there are some people that enjoy working with them and have made some money.
The one load I did with them was just a get home load at the time, and it was the most awkward phone call I've ever had with any broker.Dino soar, JosiahS, 86scotty and 1 other person Thank this. -

when I was a carrier and a broker in my own company I could never understand the hate towards brokers. If you feel so strongly against them why call and bother them ??? Just drive the truck and let the business people handle the business end of things.

OP - What are you doing now? I find it hard to get out of the industry

Biggest issue with me with TQL is freight claims. I've never had any with them, but it seems like they are quick to file a claim that is questionable and could very well be false and keep all the money for that load and any previous loads. Have any knowledge of that?
13 months ago if I remember TQL let go I think 750 employees because they could not have the means to provide technology for people to work from home because of the virus. Any experiences from that? -
They have a claims department that handles it so I don’t have much insight on that. They did tell us to mark a load as a claim if we even thought it might be a claim.Last edited: Jan 27, 2021
