So I'm curious why 13 months later and out of the industry you decided to come to TTR and spill the beans on TQL?

As far as TQL's thinking regarding truckers, I think that feeling is mutual. I hear more horror stories about TQL than anything good, although I'm sure that there are some people that enjoy working with them and have made some money.
The one load I did with them was just a get home load at the time, and it was the most awkward phone call I've ever had with any broker.

I still follow the freight industry as I have family/friends in it. I honestly was bored today and after seeing multiple posts of people being screwed by them, figured why not.

when I was a carrier and a broker in my own company I could never understand the hate towards brokers. If you feel so strongly against them why call and bother them ??? Just drive the truck and let the business people handle the business end of things.

Good morning! Thanks for you opening the transparency that some of us need. I have a few questions.

Biggest issue with me with TQL is freight claims. I've never had any with them, but it seems like they are quick to file a claim that is questionable and could very well be false and keep all the money for that load and any previous loads. Have any knowledge of that?

13 months ago if I remember TQL let go I think 750 employees because they could not have the means to provide technology for people to work from home because of the virus. Any experiences from that?

I quit January 2nd of 2020. They let those people go in March I believe. I knew some people who were doing well that were let go with no explanation.

They have a claims department that handles it so I don’t have much insight on that. They did tell us to mark a load as a claim if we even thought it might be a claim.

Thanks! I'll try not to bother you too much after this. How is TQL doing in your opinion? I've read several law suits filed and some pending for them, but are they holding up, falling apart, or just staying steady. A lot of companies going under lately.

    Rightlane76 Thanks this.
