percentage pay can be good. If your working directly for the broker and your percentage is taken out of 100% of what the load pays.
Back when I was running dump bucket regional, pecentage was the only pay I would want to be on. A load of clean alluminum,coke ,lime,broken glass, is what I ran most of the time, would only go at the most 300 miles from shipper.Most of those loads paid 900-1000 dollars to the truck with plenty of time to get the load off and get reload in the same day and so-on. I did'nt always get that lucky and would get #### that only paid 400 to the truck.
I would never work for anyone that could'nt pay a payroll company to take care of taxes and workers comp.
