Tarpping nightmare

 

After a trip to Canada. Going south to warm up is in order. Taking this big girl to Sinton TX to be with her sisters (1 of 8). Just shy of 16' wide and probably close to 200k gross. Easy load, just slow.

 

What are those “tubs” used for.

 

I don't know for sure, but I want to guess it's one of those tubs they put molten metal in.

Yup, it's a slag pot.

 

Here's a picture I found. Me and my brother own an old 225 cat excavator. I was hauling it from a job a whopping 3 miles away. It's not too big, I think roughly 52k lbs and 10ft wide. Hard to beat a south Dakota sunset.
