All prepared and ready to put the liners in tomorrow. Coated with Cassis saver. I have to modify the crossmembers to account for the liners. They will be sectioned in the middle and a couple straps across the butt joint of the crossmembers. Hopefully put them back in Friday morning then figure out the driveline angles. Maybe even a test drive on Saturday if the snow holds off? 68C290A3-9FCB-4ADD-B62E-A51C1052A05B.jpeg 0058841F-17F9-41FC-B479-03CB19DE1048.jpeg

Wow never seen liners that long it a good thing you will never worry about that frame breaking. So many think a weld and diamond plate is good enough it only a start. Great job!

So what's the plan for the added length, more freight overhang off the front of the trailer ?

Liners in and the crossmembers cut and the outside ends epoxied and ready to put in tomorrow. I had almost enough bolts to do the job but had to stop and pick up $90 worth. AFB393E7-0377-4F94-B639-65BB3E8A92B6.jpeg 0EA3B40D-E372-4F1B-AB7C-465F142CF23D.jpeg

I wish I lived close to you. I’d lend you an extra pair of hands (not much use other than holding stuff) just to watch, learn, and admire. That is if you’d have me LOL. I love when you guys post pics of projects.

What did you gain in length?

I would love to do the same to my 9300 just because it would be so much more practical to update to the new cutoff rather than go through my rears and the rest of the 23 yo assembly.

Not to mention I would love to lengthen my bunk by 3-5 feet in the future.

One problem is my free pole barn I have it stored in is not mine and my truck fits in it by less than an inch lengthwise .

I've looked at the barn thinking I could add a affordable 4 foot high addition to the back that the rear frame would squeeze into and than back the truck in.

Problem is there is only 7' 8" between the posts . Too many modifications to sneak by for now.

Kinda did a lot of running around today. Picked up a second muffler bracket for the drivers side. Crossmembers are in and the front drive axle rehung. 470DE114-C19B-4E7A-BAE6-B43C1DCC8D41.jpeg AC31855B-EF83-45EA-809D-FCCA19568753.jpeg E9ED2A62-DA31-480C-B03F-058AC7972F1F.jpeg The old 3’ liner I was originally going to use didn’t fair to well against my wife.
