I am a local o.o I run y plate my question is if I change my plate to p plate does it automatically come with ifta or can I run p plate without having ifta only answer if you know.

I’ve never heard of a P plate either. I run locally with a NR tag, (for natural resources), and I don’t need IFTA or DOT number. If you aren’t crossing state line I don’t see why you need it though. If you cross state line I think you need IFTA with any commercial vehicle. Call your local DOT officers and find out. That’s their job.

First letter of my plate is R. That supposed to mean anything?

I assume they mean PRP ,Pro Rate Plate
