My uncle had a road grader that they used for building location roads for my grandfathers water well drilling rigs. Texas required back decades ago anything that did road type work and was used on roads to be tagged. Same with house trailers. They had to have tags if they had axles and wheels. He had a house trailer that would get moved around here and there like they did in the oilfield in the day.

I have P on An Illinois IRP plate. 80, 000 lbs.I don' t remember what was on the 72 000 plate.
