Are you fairly cutthroat ? Willing to hose some guy trying to support a family with a worn out old truck out of 1200 bucks?
Are you a good negotiator ? Can you convince a guy to take a load for you for the absolute minimum price ?
In the old days, many truckers would just haul the freight for the price you set, but now there is a growing culture of fighting back for every nickel . Are you prepared to deal with that?
If you are fairly bright and can learn to visualize the logistics of each load in your mind , you wont have much trouble with that part, but keep in mind that some folks never do get very good at it and constantly have to be reminded of the tricky intersections between time and space FMCSA regulations governing our movement therein .Lite bug Thanks this. -
