New or old asked again

The braces are not in my cab for the side stacks. I can’t go any higher than 1’ ( because the new shop only has 12’ door) above the cab and, I like being a little different.

 

Well I’m still alive after 27 years with her. There’s been a few close calls though.

 

Drive line is in. Picked up some airline fittings today. Gonna see if we can make er roll on her own tomorrow?

Ill rehang the carrier bearing in the morning. Pulled it apart to paint under it.

 

Few more hours today installing the stack bracket and hooking up the airlines. I need to make a couple of adjustments. Traced all the wires out including the ABS system. I’ll do some soldering tomorrow.

 

Pretty easy really. Just label what goes where when you cut the old one off. Then reconnect to the new stuff.

The wire for the ABS requires a little research and troubleshooting but doable.

Point is if you have the skills and tools to splice and move the cut offs around you’ll be able to handle the airlines.

Literally the hardest part was unloading the new cut off off the trailer so far.

 

The old rails under the slider were better than I expected but the underside of the of the slider is shot.

New peals tool on order for the new rails.
