That's a tough one. I liken it to the classic Van Halen/Van Hagar debate.
AC/DC with Bon Scott was more primal, gritty and raw. With Brian Johnson, there seemed to be more melody and intricacy added to the mix.
Take Long Way To The Top for example. Malcolm's intro is just raw and in your face. Those guitar chords just hit you like a wave of sound, repeatedly. Add in Angus' filler licks and solos, Bon Scott's vocals and bagpipes and you've got the ultimate rock and roll anthem.
Transition over to the the Brian Johnson era. Songs like Hell's Bells, Are You Ready? and Let's Make It just have that softer, melodic playing in the mix that you don't see as much in the Bon Scott era.PoleCrusher, Flint1, cke and 6 others Thank this. -
That would be Bon Scott. Died in his car right in front of his house.PoleCrusher, Flint1, cke and 6 others Thank this.

I
i agree, however, I found the biggest difference to be the pitch. Bon Scott, while very talented, didn't sound as good to me because his voice was so high pitched compared to Brian's. Their music is low enough with the heavy bass and overall chords, that the higher pitch of Bon never really fit with it in my opinion.
As far as Van Halen, DLR all the way.PoleCrusher, Flint1, cke and 7 others Thank this. -
Roxy Petrucci. Her sister, Maxine, is a pretty wicked guitarist too. Maxine played in a band called Madam X, which also had Sebastian Bach as vocalist in between his time in Kid Wikkid and Skid Row.

What do you think of Mitch Malloy? Allegedly he was hired by the band to replace Hagar but the record company decided to make Gary Cherone the vocalist instead. Van Halen III was more or less a flop. Cherone was a great frontman but the only decent song on that Album was Fire in the Hole.

Came in leaving a blood trail, it never ends! Never seen or had a water manifold crack on the down leg where it bolts to the head, but have now. Y’all stay safe out there....
