Running a 4 pin microphone

    Is there an Adaptor to run with a 4 pin microphone into a 6 pin radio I noticed the ranger. SRA 198 only had a 4 pin microphone I’m looking at purchasing a ranger 2950 CD has a 6 pin outlet

    I wasn’t aware those Adapters existed I just assumed people changed the plugs on radios

    You can change the plug ,just do it on the mic not the radio

    2950/2970 come with the old style Ranger mic with channel change buttons.

    Some radios come with pig-tail adapters...Some of the Unidens do anyway
