I remember a trip to yellowstone where the same thing happened only it was June. Family had summer clothes for a summer trip and it snowed on us... Presently sitting in Sioux Fall, SD
Current set-up I can Haul 25.5 tons. New trailer is supposed to be another 1500lbs. lighter Along with the aluminum wheels I'm looking at getting I should be able to get 27tons.
Cotton seed does NOT flow out of anything but cow butts!. This is my second haul and I swore I'd never haul it again but it was that or sit in FL. Last load we had to pitch fork it from the bottom while I used a pole to pry chunks loose. 5 hours to unload and the pay is garbage. At least I'm out of the south and east. I was going home in 2 weeks but heck with that. If its gonna be this hard to get out then I'm going to stay out till near Turkey day and go home for the remainder of the week. Still feel that something is not quite right with the truck. So I want to pull the heads and give a look-see at the valves and other 5 injectors. I may have one that is partially clogs reguardless of the additives. I've got a box of crushed walnut shells just waiting for something to bead polish. LOL Might even be a weak valve spring. Either way if I run this monthand then go home for the rainder of turkey week I should have enough time to GitRdun!
BTW if anyone has a line on an 18spd let me know. I believe I will also be in the market for a moose catcher very soon. I bet I have seen more than 40 busted deer from AL to SD.

In your case the best of two evils. Either DH or crappy load.
-
There was a guy that offered to sell me a cattle guard he had lying around but he's probably back home in Alaska by now and I've no idea how to get a hold of him.
-
Thats what I get for living in N-FL/S-GA.
i'll make the best of it now. Sometimes that what it takes to get to the good loads. On a good note my new dispatcher was quite upset about having to run me on this load, so thats a plus in her favor as long as she backs it up and I have no reason to think she won't..
Yes TG I have a feemayl dispatcher
Oh I'm also in the market for tire chains 22.5's. Thanks
I saw a sweet hopper trailer today....A cornhusker 800??? Had a tag rear axle. nice lookin trailer. Not sure what it weights though. He said around 8k but heck 8.9k is "around" 8.
