I suspect we are talking about the same place... .right along Rt 66. It's been a while, I haven't been there since then.

I sure hope they expanded that lot. It was quite the nightmare pulling in there at midnight after driving like a madman for the past couple days (Laredo to Kingman in 26 hours.... SSSSHHHHHHH!!!!!!!).

    Ok, I'm an idiot.

I was mistaken. It was the tiny little Flying Hook on the north side.

    :biggrin_2552:

Just looked at the satellite photo on Google. I delivered up the street on N Castle Rock Road the next morning. My old age is catching up to me, thank God I still have my looks! My only problem is that I have a memory like a steel strainer (as opposed to a steel trap).

I'll just sit here and ...... shut the hell up now.

I hate to be the one to correct your great and informative answer, BUT, maintainence deduction is .05 cents a mile. But if you want to raise it to .07 cents you can. I have mine ar .08 cents

The driver you are reffering to is a close friend of mine. He sat three days in Cheyenne in the blizzard trying to get to Lexington, ne. On the way to Houston, an injector tube started leaking fuel in to his oil. He got it to the yard, and grabbed a loaner and went to Brighton,MI and is on his to pick up a load in Brownburg,IN and come back and pick up his truck

As fast as those new trucks are breaking down, they should be taking out more

    The Challenger Thanks this.
