I got a plantronics headpiece. Bout 100-130 american bucks. Find it at any Interstate Connections place in TAs or Petros. The parrot should work too fine. It must have noise cancelling in order to talk at all while driving in a semi. The cheaper ones do not have this. They may offer wind noise blah blah blah etc. Been there, done that, ugh. Spend the money for it, or youll end up buying one for less money, that you end up having to just buy the more expensive one anyways, or the most costly option, you spend 60 bucks on something you cant use.

FlyingJ is sold out, but I found a couple of them on eBay. -
X2
I also use the noice cancel plantronics with no problems. Minuswell buy the best than spend twice trying others. -
Flying J's have been out of them since well before X-mas. Bought the Blue Parrot with the boom mic at Internet Connections at the Petro in Little Rock for $98. Love this thing. Can hear everyone clear and can be heard clear. Is well worth the money IMO.

I got one off of eBay that would have been delivered yesterday from UPS except that darn little thing called snow that closed too many roads down. Now I doubt I'll see it until tuesday.
I can't wait for it to get here to try it. -
I'm certain you'll be happy with it. One thing I would recommend, although it may seem to be a no-brainer, make sure you charge it the first time with the 110 charger and not the 12 volt cigarette lighter charger. I'm gonna hafta replace my battery now as I can no longer get any more than 2 hours of talk time with it.

I'll be sure to keep that in mind. Thank you. -
Any one know how the blue tiger com pairs to the parrot ?
-
Mike, I have one. Its just "ok", very similar to the blue parrot. Then again Im not a huge blue parrot fan either. Decent sound which is plenty loud, and decent noise cancellation.
You can google top dawg bluetooth too. I think blue tiger and top dawg are made by the same cheap Chinese company.
I did find one of those Verizon "authorized dealers" at a truck stop selling the topdawg brand. For an extra $40 you can buy insurance from them. Their insurance will allow you to get a new headset twice WHEN it brakes. -
I have tried a few of the bluetooth earpieces an so far none have come close to the blue parrot. I can't even use it with the volume turned all the up. And the call quality and battery life is awesome!
