CP600, you need to hit that magic send button three more times??? -
I recently swapped a 525 into my 379. The ecm must be flaky. If I tighten the bottom screw on the ecm for the truck harness, it runs erratically. If I leave it loose it will run normal most of the time. but does act up at least a couple time a day. So I suspect a faulty ecm.
Where can I find a stock 525 ecm? -
there is some on ebay i never used any of them you can also try a truck salvage yard but be careful if they don't warranty them i have seen people spend more on buying junk ecms then if they would have just but a cummins recon

before you do reprogramming hook up computer and read CPL number, then check InCal for your CPL calibration. do not use calibration with higher rating your CPL allows to use, becouse some parts like tirbo ore camshaft may differ and you may get bad fuel milage ore something like this issue
