Heard some folks at work (folks well connected in the oilpatch) talking today that drilling outfits are already starting to pull their iron out of the US and bringing it back here. This might end up being a good thing for us up here. Who knows? Nothing has made sense since 2020 :biggrin_2559:

Yep.. Because when u drive 55 all day . U will come up on the guys with radios who spend more time complaining instead of just going around..."when u pay for my fuel then u can tell me how to drive" or i just turn the radio off

@D.Tibbitt ‘s circumstance and mine are the opposite, i don’t pay the fuel bill but I get paid by the mile, whereas he pays his own fuel bill and gets paid a fixed rate(?) haha I’d be driving slow too if I were him

I mean i could easily put a couple hundred extra bucks in my pocket each load just dropping the speed. Some guys will say if u go faster u can pickup another load , but ive found ur always chasing ur tail trying to get to that next load? Plus stressed to the max, somebody is always in the frickin way when doing 70+... i wish i could just run coast to coast just doing 55 all the time . But its trucking , lately i have been running my butt off and my fuel mileage sucks with winter fuel so im in full degenerate mode currently just trying to get #### done while the good weather permits ... but otherwise it works for me being less stressed , not so wound up , which i will find myself ready to bash some guys head in when he blocks the fuel island for 20 minutes.. Thats not good for anybody... i sometimes read stories on here about trucker gettting shot when confronting another trucker over some fuel island bs or something similar. I dont want to be on the wrong end of something so stupid like that

Don’t worry you’re too small of a target for the average meth head fuel island ruffian to hit :D

They should make a rule like in tag where you can’t shoot at the fuel island because everyone loses if you hit a pump or tank

I was refused service for not wearing a mask and walked out when the cashier suggested I put my shirt over my nose; all I wanted was some freakin caramel filled milk chocolate! :biggrin_25523:
