What if it Snows?

Yea sitting in the Alamo Petro right now wondering where all the trucks are lol. Had my grilled chicken salad inside, and didn't have to listen to drivers yell their stories to each other while I read my book.

 

I hear there's a Artic cold air mass dropping into Washington early next week. You should be able to get the hell out of there by then. Roll easy.

 

Yup. Got 2 loads I'm trying for that load back out Saturday just waiting on times from broker to see if I can make them work. Got this load for 1780 miles. Now I want to run like a scalded ### ape back for Denver lol.

Farming Simulator 18 on my android tablet... I prefer Farming Simulator 19 on XboxOne but I make due with what I have in the truck.

I also have Minecraft and Stardew Valley on my tablet. The wife and I can play Minecraft together when I'm on the road and shes at home.

All three of these games work with an XboxOne controller bluetoothed to my tablet... I can't do touch screen for most games, drives me nuts.

 

I back into the pit where I'm going to offload. The rack pit is adjacent to the loading docks for this particular customer. A van starts his back into the dock which is right next to my assigned rack. He stops his back right where the rear end of his van is in perfect alignment with my mirrors. He gets out of his truck and walks around back to swing his doors. The door on his passenger side won't open all of the way because it would hit my mirror in the swing. I'm sitting in my seat with the window down and he asks me if I could move my truck. I say...wait for it...hey driver, how about backing up another 5' feet and then your door will be able to completely swing open. He says, Oh yeah, and gets back into his truck. BTW, my hose was already connected.

True story.

 

Well I'm up. But I can't pull out. I have two trucks right on the line, either side, and then a big Volvo at my 11:30. At 630 I'll start banging on doors, hopefully someone will move at that point. Atleast I didn't start the elog.


Anyone do excercises? So we don't dont turn into somt huge.

Do any Volvos have front curtains?

 

I try to spend at least half an hour a day walking, doing squats, pushups, and stretches. Not only to avoid being a driver who is Easter egg hunting in the bathroom, but I also do this because it keeps my neck and back from hurting.
