    Yeah I looked at 42 on my road atlas, definitely does look a lot smoother the other route; I’m honestly nervous as #### over here haha! It’s been 2 weeks since I’ve driven, just waiting around does it to me

    Well, after a weird but good $$$ week ima going home ! Kinda a round tripper. Started with a load from WV. TO FL. then suppose to bounce to NC for a load to FL. But that went up in smoke. But paid for the trouble. To moving three D8 dozers 130 miles each for a total of 780 miles for $9800 in 1 and half days. And only be an hour and half from home. January was a steller $$$ month. $ 78300. For january. But I'm betting this month isn't gonna be even close to that ! Gotta rebuild my fithwheel and repair wiring on rear of trailer from all of @cke wonderfully brine covered hwys.

    Oh it was a white knuckle ride until I got to the gap. Had about the perfect weight on for snow driving 28k. Enough to get some good traction but light enough not to push you down the hills too fast

    @D.Tibbitt

    What? You're not going to try to send @farmerjohn64 on 199 over to 101?

    Have you no sense of sending someone else on an adventure?!

    It's not too bad in the flesh.

    Guess I'm just a mean out west guy. Break the newcomers in properly by giving them a good pucker.

    Those fires made for interesting times around here. Co worker was on his way back from Ashland when they kicked off. Called us and said "man, there's a fire picking up out here traffic is all jacked up".

    Work shut down for a couple days due to air quality, and my parents were at my house for about two weeks as a result of another fire up by Cave Junction.

    @farmerjohn64

    I live in SW Oregon so I'm also willing to give some tips on ways around here whenever you pass through.
