Kind of like the saying “Just because you are Offended doesn’t make IT OFFENSIVE”

You are 100% right on the sweat pants. They keep my nice and cozy.

I have sandals when I drive but when I get out of the truck, I like to keep it fancy with my black Reebok tennis shoes

By the way, I had to get a rental car from the airport today. I went in my sweatpants. I was very comfortable the entire time. And not only was I extremely comfortable the whole time, but I have to admit that after having read this thread the night before, the thought of my sweatpants triggering somebody in the area put a great big smile on face as well. Kind of like this, Gary:

I don’t really care what I wear or what anyone else wears. My standard attire is jeans and a untucked t shirt. It’s a rare occasion if I wear anything different. I am the president of a multimillion dollar company too and I dress like this at work all the time. People do business with us because of the quality of our work not because we look like fashion models. Last time I wore something other than jeans and a t shirt was at my moms funeral back in June.

After reading this thread I think I might just wear sweatpants for the rest of my life for every single day that I'm driving a truck, weather permitting of course.

I agree it's no one's business but theirs and their company. I would never tell a stranger how to dress.
I disagree with it not affecting anyone else. As a group truck drivers have demanded less and less respect over time and therefore receive less respect. It all about public perception.

I know a couple guys that do food service delivery who wear those overcoats, more to keep themselves clean from spillage than anything.

But, that's you, to me it does matter, it's about personal preference
