Did you read the whole article?
ISP says that the truck driver left the scene and was “found 10 miles from the crash scene into Montana … the Clark County Sheriff’s Office cited the driver for Driving Too Fast for Conditions and Leaving the Scene of a Crash.” -
well then, my predictions were spot on..
1) he made a high speed getaway (i did say that)
2) they caught him and he got charged (i also did say that)
sooooooooooo
your point was...????????? -
To be fair you said you "hoped" they catch him, when in fact they already had.Doealex Thanks this.

It aint hard to catch him . There isnt anything for about 200 miles in both directions. That part of i15 is notorious for ice fog

Wow, I'm sure the driver 'just didn't notice'.
Doealex Thanks this. -
When you are 65 feet away, and you feel a bump, and it's dark, and you are still moving.....Doealex Thanks this.

hope; plural noun: hopes
1. a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen.
2. a feeling of trust.
verb
want something to happen or be the case.
I believe you used "hope" as a verb ("hope" = "I hope"). Don't want to be a "grammar cop" but you're getting out of shape for no reason. Unless you used "hope" as a feeling of trust (in your sentence I don't see how) just admit that you didn't finish reading the article till the last sentence before you commented. Or if you did finish reading it you didn't pay attention to the last sentence. No big deal. We all do mistakes.Last edited: Feb 6, 2021
