The reality is not really that cold for very long.

We are close enough to the ocean and Sound/Bay that the water moderates the extremes. Rarely does any snow last more than a couple of days. It would be like a week long ski trip for most of them.

Enterprise, Joseph, Astoin, wouldn't be bad but they are infiltrating those areas as well. They are easy to spot, like one at Enterprise Safeway a couple years ago gal walk In she got straight up pissed because they didn't have a Starbucks

 

My buddy in Colorado got cussed by a California Karen yesterday for not wearing a mask while delivering Coke. When she complained to the manager and was told "so what?". The being (Californian so not sure what it identifies as) then went on a tirade about how The President made it a mandate whether they like it in "Trump Country" or not.

Black Months are a concern. The days do get rather short up here I want to say we get down to under 10 hours around winter solstice, 0730 rise dark by about 1700. I just put up a couple of grow lights in the house to hoping counteract the wife having SADD set in.
