Just keep trying. Not impossible, but just be prepared for a long frustrating search, unfortunately.

 

Pam doesn't have near as strict of hiring regs as USA from what i've read. I called them both when i was looking and Pam said they would consider misdemeanors over 5 years old and USA wouldn't even talk to me.. It might be worth it to give them a call.

Your brother is an O/O before he commits to you he'd best check with his insurance company. The insurance companies dictate (for the most part) on who gets hired.

Most companies are taking the cream of the crop, so yep a 10 year veteran with a clean record gets the job before.

you got that right. When i use to haul blocks. There was another driver from a different company. He was a good guy. Always there if you need help. The only thing wrong was that he had a heavy foot. His boss came to block company told him that he had to let him go. The insurance company was going to raise it rates if he was still employed.

I can tell you from personal experience. Taking a #### drug test every week (sometimes twice) for a month...sucks.
