From what I have read, that is not that uncommon.

"any" gaps is a little extreme.

I have read other companies that say the same thing.

I would send them home too. If they have an attitude at orientation can you imagine how they will be as an employee?

Now that's funny. How about smokers, pale skin, hairy knuckles... all the other "sign's" of medical risk. Maybe they could demand a DNA test to determine how healthy they will be over the course of thier employment and can fire them right before the breakdown period. In reality, this exist in a lot of industies, just not above board.

I currently drive for Schneider trucking and am looking at USA truck does anybody have any information about them good or bad?

 

i have the same question t.b. if they approve my app. they will send me to school and give me a job when i am done. i personally haven't heard anything bad about them.

 

who is the training through? i have been talking to Driver Solutions (they got me a pre-hire from PAM transport) and i noticed USA truck was one of their Co's that sponsor them

 

USA pays better than Schnieder but there insurance is not as good. Both companies run the same parts of the country hauling the same kinds of freight. USA only has about 4000 trucks where Schnieder has over 16,000. As far as getting miles you shouldn't have a problem with it at USA. I never did.

 

don't know the name of the school but it's in texas. only a 3 week class. but that's probably because i already have a class b and a class a permit

i have an update. usa also has a school in richmond va. that's where i'll be heading sun. morning. 4 wk class m-t. off friday-sunday. they pay for motel sun-thu. no contract. if you quit you owe only 1700.00. but you have a job w/ usa if you want it.
