Those 2 crappy Pilots and the slightly less crappy Loves are your only choices. The Loves is the best option in my opinion. It has the biggest lot. You need to enter off of whatever the main road is that runs in front of it otherwise you will have to find a way to turn around to get to the scale. Then you can just drive out the side exit onto the side street and there is a stop light to get back into the main road.

 

I'm not sure what I'm doing differently beyond luck of the draw but things haven't been that bad for me there yet.

 

Nothing like a good stuff midwestern crosswind and aerodynamics tuned for headwinds to give you an upper body workout. I'll take that any day over a trip through the mountains though.

 

I think it is just luck. There is no rhyme or reason that I can tell. I've had times where it has been ok. They are fewer than all the BS times but once in awhile it is ok.

 

I'm sure it's just luck too. Last 3 times I was there it was over 6 hours, a half hour and then about 2 hours. The time it took a half hour I wondered if they were closed it was so deserted.

 

What happened to packersfan? Anyone know? Haven’t seen him in a while.

 

I haven't heard from him in a long time. I believe @JOHNQPUBLIC told me he seen him kinda recently with his wife somewhere.

 

I saw him at Heartland Pontoon Beach sometime in the fall.

 

All the more reason to shut it down! Fire all of Heartland's management and let BRF take care of things.

 

I agree with you 100% but I am afraid it is going to eventually be the other way around.
