I know BlueBird is a working truck and all.... But that photo shows one reason I have a preference for white trucks, You don't notice the ice and snow buildup as much. Let's me be more blissfully ignorant some of the time.

Someone tell me why all of a sudden fuel prices are so much higher in Texas now compared to where you are. This is craziness, I tell you. A 21% jump at our local Love's and I've seen higher.

I have no idea. It’s high here at T/A. I fuel at an independent, it’s probably $2.10 now. It’s high up north too. Winter time, always inconsistent prices. Something to due with supply and demand, more fuel going to different places, just my guess. Never know what to expect. Haven’t had a “ maintenance “ pipeline shutdown for a while. Chicago to Detroit, pipeline always needs maintenance when fuel is cheap. Pumps up prices!! Never fails.

January 20th. Probably just a coincidence.

Rates lower / fuel higher. I'm just a company driver so who cares anyway.

Well TX prices are stil less than up here......

The common explanation is home heating oil. The oil fueled heaters in houses use diesel with different additives...... So when a cold snap comes in people refill the oil bunker driving up demand and sucking out supply for IFTA diesel.
