That's why I deleted mine that was the best money I ever spent.
I mean I am only thirty I spent almost four years in college majoring in everything I could that had to do with diesel mechanics.
And I look back and it seems it was a waste of time for what they have done to the industry I use to love to work on trucks and drive them I don't even hardly work on mine no more besides oil changes and the basics. The rest I just take it to the shop

Hell, unless you're doing something stupid like allowing yourself to be obese or smoking, "they" likely added a decade or more to your life.

Diesel particulates accounted for about 7% of all air pollutants in 2000. A decade before the EPA crammed it on us. And, the studies show long term, heavy exposure before cancer was found in lab animals. So, no, the EPA didn't likely add "a decade or more" to your life. The hysteria reminds me of the Saccharin scare of the 70's.

My 2013 Pete 386 did the same thing filled the tank 10 miles down the road and red light on the def gauge and there a water in the def sign on the gauge 3 lights on the dash came on i just kept trucking this def system is the biggest money maker for dealer ships i want to get mine deleted f*** def any one know who deletes a paccar

I just had this issue Thursday 020421. Short story, on site service tech, crawled beneath vehicle and plugged(back in) in Def tank sending unit wire harness in. 2018 579 Pete paccar engine. Works fine. The sorry conditions of our interstates are tearing our trucks apart. Infrastructure investment is needed immediately
