That's why I deleted mine that was the best money I ever spent.
I mean I am only thirty I spent almost four years in college majoring in everything I could that had to do with diesel mechanics.
And I look back and it seems it was a waste of time for what they have done to the industry I use to love to work on trucks and drive them I don't even hardly work on mine no more besides oil changes and the basics. The rest I just take it to the shop

Well then be thankful. "They" have lowered your risk from lung cancer by a substantial amount. Not only from limitiing the cancer causing agents in diesel fuel, but from keeping you from breathing it in concentrated forms in a shop.

Hell, unless you're doing something stupid like allowing yourself to be obese or smoking, "they" likely added a decade or more to your life.

You should be thankful and happy.

True, most truckers are too stupid to understand this.

Did it ever occur to you that maybe drivers aren't doing what they're supposed to stay out if the shop? How many drivers have ignored the Regen request by the truck? How many drivers allow the DEF to get to low, and then don't fill it up all the way? How many drivers don't take the the time to understand how their truck works?

Diesel particulates accounted for about 7% of all air pollutants in 2000. A decade before the EPA crammed it on us. And, the studies show long term, heavy exposure before cancer was found in lab animals. So, no, the EPA didn't likely add "a decade or more" to your life. The hysteria reminds me of the Saccharin scare of the 70's.

There are several members on this forum who know who can do what you are asking. However, they also know discussions about that on this forum are prohibited. Let this be your last time asking, mmmm K?

Im driving a 2011 Kenworth T660 and it seems too be having the same problem. The mechanic fixed the problem supposedly but the light is still flashing at me. He's telling me that the DEF gauge is also a quality gauge as well. There's some bad DEF in there and thats causing the light too be on and I just need too burn it off. Is that true or should I get a second opinion?

I just had this issue Thursday 020421. Short story, on site service tech, crawled beneath vehicle and plugged(back in) in Def tank sending unit wire harness in. 2018 579 Pete paccar engine. Works fine. The sorry conditions of our interstates are tearing our trucks apart. Infrastructure investment is needed immediately
