Bye Bye Mask

And I'd have gotten the covid already.... I think in one years time I have been absolutely required, and asked personally, to wear a mask at like 6 places... On maybe 9 occasions. Outside of those occurrence I have NOT worn a mask at all...

You are misinterpreting what the study found. The study soldiers were still in close contact, two to a room. And we know that close contact is the number one form of transmission. You can't conclude anything about the effectiveness of mask wearing or sanitization from this study. What they were focused on was the testing and finding of asymptomatic spread.

 

You know what, screw all the facts, studies, everything. Why are you so afraid? And also, what exactly are you afraid of? The response to this has been ridiculous. No wonder why this country is in the shape it’s in. Here is the scared crowd.........

I don’t know what this virus is. The professionals STILL don’t know enough about the virus. I don’t know if the vaccine is safe. I don’t know if it works. I can’t see the virus. But I’m going to go to absurd lengths to make sure I’m safe from something nobody understands and I’m not even sure of. I’ll just play Halloween dress up till I’m told it’s ok not to.

No. You are misinterpreting what i am saying. Even with stringent quarantine in place it still spreads. Meaning we can’t stop it in daily life because we don’t do anything near what they did. Are you not in close quarters with people everyday? And those people are in contact with many other people? The guys in the study didn’t have the level of contact that we do and it still spread. It’s a virus. Viruses spread. The only way to eradicate this is hitting the pause button on life for 2 weeks. The word stops. That’s means everyone hunkers down and literally stays put. Can you coordinate this? How about all these experts on TV? No????

“they” are saying we won’t reach herd immunity till possibly this spring. A year later ?!?! Why? Cause we acted the way we did up until that point and got nowhere.

 

Who is afraid? Let science lead the way, not some backdoor conspiracies.

 

And just like the vaccine thread, I’ll ask it here. Who do you talk to about this that actually knows anything about it????? Go read that thread. I’m not typing it all out again. I’ll go on record that as far as I know ( notice I said as far as I know)I have more REAL information,education, and facts on this than anyone on TTR. I live with a research scientist with PHD’s in microbiology and immunology. She has nothing to lose or gain so she and her colleagues are unbiased as it gets. And let me tell you all that are so afraid of Covid-19, they are not of the same thinking as you.

Again, the study was geared towards the findings of asymptomatic spread and there was close contact within the group, they are a military outfit. No, as a trucker I don't have any close contact, not even close to the level of a military outfit, even with precautions in place.
