My truck is going to be registered for 63,500kg in AB Canada (140,000 lbs), was wondering what states allow flatbed Super-B configurations. Tandem axle truck, tridem lead trailer and tandem pup. Looking at crossing the border using the spot market if possible. Also are the weights still generally limited to 80,000 lbs for those states?

Off the top of my head, you should be good in MT, WY, ID for sure, up to 105,500 if you can bridge it. Need annual extended weight permit for Idaho at least to go over 80K.

When in doubt, call a scale house in the state you’re going to and get the skinny.

Washington 105,500, Oregon 105,500, but the ton mile tax will be expensive. Nevada, Utah, possibly North Dakota, not sure on weight, they are changing LCV rules, South Dakota also. Get rules from each l state dot, do not just look at inside cover of Rand Mc Nally atlas.
