Well if you ever wanna sell your '14, I'd like to know. Something about the small bunk and that gold color catch my eye just right.

    Diesel Dave Thanks this.

    I owned a 2003 Peterbilt with C15 6nz.
    Before accert egr, etc.
I was running coast to coast.
Hauling wine back to the southeast.
62 mph. No idle time. It was winter.
    43k loads east.
I was getting 6.5 mpg consistently.
I kept the rpm no more than 1500 .
My rpm in top gear was about 1300 at 60 mph.
Fuel was about $4.20/gallon in late 2012.
A lot of wind and hills and maybe a big gap between cab and trailer with your rig.
Slow speed and easy on the throttle is worth a try if you have the time.
Find out what the most efficient rpm is for the engine you have.

    joey8686 Thanks this.
