I don't even have a regular doctor to go see. Insurance, yes. But anytime I get established with a local doctor over here, they go bye-bye after several months. It's like M* A * S*H or something where they get rotated out with a new one from the staffing agency they work for.
But, I figure it's safer to hit the gym after every work night and get more of the green stuff and some water in. Kind of got lazy with even basic exercise during the last, couple of years.

Ive been with my primary doctor near 20 years. The pharmacy that issues medicine has been in business since the 50's The father of the son who currently runs it now was in the other day to refill my meds. The doctor before my current one committed suicide due to bone cancer and a gold digging spouse. He knew what was coming and wanted out on his own terms. He did not suffer. The bullet severed his C1 instantly. But I was his last patient the previous day. Without going into excessive details far beyond the scope of this posting, I choose to say that it was a great loss.
But when you are with one doctor for many years and build everything around that one doctor in life, things are very much easier. I have had many DOT exams in Concentra offices in which I will never see again or the docs that gave it inside there over my life time. And those were not the problem. Until they close up and go away quickly. These are not the places to try to build a long term patient-doctor relationship.bentstrider83 Thanks this. -
That's a terrible thing. Try to build a good life and a good career and then something comes along to knock the wind out of everything.
This whole debacle for me was the result of wanting to switch over to a different company. This was for First Fleet and that was where they wanted me to go. After getting those results, I'm just going to stick it out where I'm at for a little while longer before finding some place actually worth going.
All I know is that I got to keep moving forward.x1Heavy Thanks this. -
Yeah it used to be if you were issued a 1 yr card, you were stuck with it forever. I got a 1 yr once upon a time, but got issued a 2 yr card with a different Doc. I didn't cop to using BP meds which don't show up in your wee-wee test. My feelings are if your meds keep it under control, you do not have high BP. But, now-a-days I guess these high tech docs can see things in the past.
MACK E-6, x1Heavy and bentstrider83 Thank this. -
I don't think they can see high BP in the "Past" if they could I would imagine the entire industry would not qualify for a DOT card... for having had spikes in the past.bentstrider83 Thanks this.

Drink pomegranate juice to lower blood pressure. My blood pressure is normal but I had 2 glasses before my dot physical and it went down 8 points compared to my physical with my primary doctor.Ration sugar and caffeine for a week prior that helps. But drink the pomegranate juice it is a superfood and it works.

for diabetes just drink enough to piss clear and no sugar will show in your system also don't tell them you are diabetic or that you are on blood pressure medication and you will get a 2 year medical card everytime. got a buddy that has been doing it for years now.
