Not trying to pry, just trying to learn. How situations such as here with the damaged tomatoes. Is that a claim against the driver, being on a lease how is that handled?

 

for anyone wanting to know about detention pay.... i was loading # Leprino's is Lemoore, CA.... appt time was 8pm pst. got loaded the following day at 145pm pst. got my detention pay notice today it was above $300

Yes... we start on Monday the 16th! Finishing up here tomorrow... check into a SLC hotel for the night and on Wednesday fly to Tulsa. Talked with Carrie today and we are all set... told her we would pay for Wednesday, Thursday and they will pick up the tab for Friday on. Got the cab info to get to the hotel and our package should get there by Friday.

Does JCT give you a route and fuel solution with your load info via Qualcomm? Also do they have drop yards through out the US? thx

Anyways for vette trying to find out about how to deal with the del times. You should talk to excelguy. He has PLENTY of experience dealing with that lol.

As far as rejected, overage, shortage on load you call JCT OS&D department and report the claim. They will give you a nimber to write on bills. As long as you have adequate load locks and your temps were correct it will not be on you. As far as them tomatoe loads, you will experience a lot of overage or shortage scenarios. I believe its lack of discipline at the shipper. Anyways peaceout ppl, coming back out tomorrow so clear the highways lol

 

only true experience i have is getting stuck waiting.....but that goes with the territory...

 

JCT does not route you they use PC Miler shortest route.The only drop yards I know of are in Mira Loma,Phoenix and Fort Worth.If you fuel at the flying J you get two cents per gallon back on your paycheck per quarter.I use PC miler GPS and practical routes, its usually only off by about 40 miles and involves more big roads.
