I am on my way back to Montana now. Heading to Helena, but probably won't be in Missoula until Thursday or Friday. I hope lynchmob got his license. I'll keep looking for an update.

I just got home for the first time in ten weeks and if I didn't have some personal business to take care of I'd still be running. I've seen those new trailers coming out of Conover; that ought to be a nice change from the company trailers I've been pulling lately.
And man, Dalton looked like a ghost town when I pulled in the other night. I guess everybody went to Conover and took all the trailers with them. Maybe I'll find out when I report back to work next week.Last edited: Nov 10, 2009

rednek..have fun down in tex... gonna be a hot im sure!!!
hen it looks like atlanta right now!, about 15 trucks scattered all around the yard, and both pilots..trls everywhere.... appears everyone is loaded out of here 2nite except for me, cause for some reason i seem to get stuck re-powering our lovely teams loads in the atlanta area... i dont really mind, but seriously our local drivers should be the ones doing it...
-
Glad to hear it, S2B. Hey, at least with a re-power you might not have to worry about one of those hot midnight loads that sometimes come out of Dalton.
-
sometimes??... they run those loads out every night.
.. but i guess it is what it is... i run the repowers then do local pick ups on the way back up to dalton....
the only good thing about dalton is the miles are consistant... i avrg around 2950-3200 weekly... so its got an upside i guess... usually from dalton to ohio then right down to the atlanta area..
even running from dalton to richmond, drop and get loaded in franklin ky and back to the atlanta area, thats 700 -/+, most driver dont like coming east, so the few that stay out here get decent miles... dont get me wrong, their are def bad weeks, like last week was only 881
miles
