This NOT always the case. Each load is different and many time you will not get anything. It all depends on the situation.

That's great for u, how many late trips/ trippak scans did u use? Also u should state how many days it took to do those 4600 miles!

TeamEvans, the freight for us is normally very steady. Avg 3500 usually. There will be always that one week where it'll barely hit 3000 each month. But overall compared to what u see at trk stops everywhere, we're not sitting around waiting on load like majority of them

We are responsible for all loads,,, but in this case my load bars were in place and the owner/manager noted on the BOL that they were present. I have not been told I was to pay for the damage, I also made sure I followed company procedure step by step. I learn pretty quick from mistakes and now take photos of every load and the bars in place before I leave the shipper! Two minutes of my time is worth what could amount to thousands or more!:biggrin_2552:

it was two trips, no late trips used. started first trip on 10/26 in jackson tennessee running to tualre, ca on 10/30/09. picked up next load on 10/31 in lemoore, ca ran to hiram ohio deliver on 11/04/09. so a total of about 4600 miles which includes a deadhead from birmingham, al to jackson tennessee.. took 10days to get em done. that better alan?:biggrin_25520: also no scans either

ok let me clarify this one as well.... yes it is correct that on most loads you do not get detention pay UNLESS it can be and is billed for. this one i happened to luck out on for the detention pay.
