I am not sure about that. Best thing to do is call recruiting 2morrow. I did talk to a JCT driver earlier this week that said he lived in TN, but I don"t remember if it was east or west TN.

Congrats on the new tricycle motor !! Hope you and your wife and your new little girl are all doing well !!

Deahhead depends on what loads the planner wants to set you up on. Sometimes you gotta deadhead a lot and othertimes not that many. All miles are paid the same rate. Dh and loaded. Like silverado said all tolls and scales are paid by jct. If you're in states where you pay cash just turn in ur receipts to get reimbursed.

Why don't you call a recruiter? Just like NC drivers, they recently stopped hiring from NC. So to get ur best answer is call the recruiter. they aren't on this thread so none of us can give u an exact answer

Team Evans, dabs and mustang970 Thank this.

I'm a single driver right now. That is part of the reason I have not made the jump yet. Right now we are trying to figure out or path to follow. Have my wife pretty much sold on the idea of going to truck driving school down in Neosho MO. I'm with Con-way Truckload right now, they have a finishing program that will let my wife go out with a finisher, then team with me. But I don't know if I wish to wait to for all that and to get her a year under her belt b4 making a switch. They other option is just letting her ride, take care of the paperwork, maybe dream up a on-line business that she can run going down the road on the laptop. She has rode a bunch of times with me, but hate to go through the expense and time, to find out that maybe all the glory and excitement of driving a truck isn't her cup of tea. But if I jump the fence, then the team option is out the window.

Just making sure that u know that jct is majority solo drivers. You don't have to be a team to sign on. Most of our freight is for solos. The team runs are normally from coast to coast. Well at least I think that's what lmb does all the time lol. Or he gets all the miles from rescuing solo guys that can't handle the pressure :)

    dabs Thanks this.

You can never make plans as a team. Example; On our way to Bedford Pa, with a preplan from VA to FL. Got to Effingham, IL swaped from a solo to Oakland, CA 27 hour delivery time with second drop in Union City, Ca. Plannned to Turlock, CA to go to Lyndhrst,VA. While loading th VA load preplaned to drop in Mira loma, and P/U in Colton, CA to go to Winter Haven, FL. Tha's just a slow week. We will have 3,000 miles Monday Morning when we deliver this load, if in fact we do deliver it. If we do we are prelanned back to Cali. Scanned our last drop Thursday with 7020 miles for that week
