Hahaha. Yep, just full truck stops and more cars.

 

Nope, it doesn't get better, you just get better at it. I've got lots of hiding places that aren't truck stops or rest areas. I always drive late in to the night by choice so hardly ever have a chance at a truck stop. I hate them anyway though.

 

The further north you go on 81 it gets real skinny on parking. The Loves and TA in kirkwood ny are always packed by late afternoon early evening. I always get my fuel at the Liberty truck plaza across from the flying hook in Gibson Pa

 

Yep, totally understand and is what I was saying in my post that each operator has to decide what’s important to them. I do this to make money, not for any other reason for the most part. For others that may be different. Sounds like you need to get your mind right and see opportunity vs dread.

 

I just paid over $15 per mile on 130 miles for a reefer. Load to truck over 100 to 1. Y’all stay warm though. lol

 

Protect from freezing? I’ve seen some pay stupid money for a last minute deal.
