my license is stolen

Go the the DMV and report your license was stolen and you need a new one ASAP with a different license identification number.
For example; see the license /ID number on this one. This one is not a real persons license, just an example.

 

Call your DMV who issued your license and notify them immediately (which right now, probably means Tuesday morning).

Do you have a photocopy of your CDL also? Work on getting a replacement license from them when you call.

Your Social Security number isn't on your license, did they steal that card too???

 

Was your ssn printed on DL ?! ...mine is not

 

If it was stolen, and you KNOW it was stolen, file a local police report and get a copy of the report.

Whens the last time you saw it? Part of my wakey-uppy routine is looking at that sucker just before I put it in my pants every morning.

It really sucks if both your ss card and dl are stolen. I got a duplicate ss card for me and wife. Put in safety deposit box with our passports

 

Why are people still carrying their SS card?

if your wallet was stolen, and you HAD your SS card in there, then call just one credit reporting agency. they automatically (i've been told) that they send out to the other credit agencies as to what happened, and put a lock on your credit.

further, you should NEVER have your SS card with you, that should be at home, locked away in a safe place.

your CDL is not federal document. it is a state issued CDL. if you were an FBI agent, NSA, CIA, Massad, MI6, KGB then i'd say yes, those are federal documents.
