Drive a snow plow. That's what most of the landscaping guys around here do. Or did till it stopped snowing in the winter. Oh hey, tow truck. You could run heavy too, good money in that.

Snow isn't consistent enough. But it is an area I'd like to cover.

I was a printer at the local newspaper. Not many of those jobs left around here.

I think I would rather be a driver too. It just seems that your former job would have been a tough one.

Wow, some interesting people drive truck these days, than there's those that have always drove truck,,,thank you.

Me, well my father drove for 35yrs, last 15 was with team partner, my mom. As a youngster I was fascinated with big trucks and wanted to drive when I was all grown up but, than I got older and realized only saw my dad about 2 days a month growing up and found our he had been married 4 or 5 times and my mom wasn't really my mom and bla, bla, bla...

So, I decided to drop out of high school and work in factories,,all that "go to school, get a good job and work for 30yrs, and draw pension" ####! After having 5 kids and seeing that factories weren't going to support them decided to go back to school and get one of them there degree's. Got that, than spent 14yrs using it in the computer repair field as a field service technician. Had to deal with more and more micro-managment then I cared to, the last 3yrs. A co-worker called me one day and told me he was going to be quiting with the company we worked for, to go drive truck. I said; "Are you fricken crazy?".

You see, I learned from my dad that in order to be a family man you better not drive truck so, I didn't and had no plans to ever drive truck. Two years after my buddy started driving, I called him and now I have been driving for 18mo's.

    End of story....
