Not going to get any better today either..maybe tomorrow if lucky..whole region is getting nailed unfortunately

 

I made it out of there just in time. I had parked at the OH Welcome Center on 70 last night. It was snowing when I started moving, but not too bad. By the time ai got to Chillicothe it was starting to get nasty but I started busting out of it around Gallipolis. Got the QC message as I was going through the Pax toll booth on the WVTP.

I've been out 2 weeks and I've spent more time driving in the snow this time out than not. Y'all can have it for awhile. I'm going to Eden.

Just got done checking the cameras into and around Memphis it’s like they have given up trying to clear the roads.

 

Maybe they operate like Midwest Whse.

 

Wisconsin was a mess this morning too. I'm at a Pilot now and the snow covering the pavement hasn't helped make things less of the usual zoo.

 

Memphis was an ice rink this morning. From one lane on the highway to one lane or no lane on the surface roads. 2-3 inches of ice everywhere. Bonus was very smooth doings at Midwest Whse. Got there only 4 trucks in the lot, when I left I was the only truck there. Believe it only took 2 hours to be unloaded and reloaded.

 

My truck has so much salt on it that it looks 2 tone now.

 

Saw where Millis and Heartland are going to be opening up a new CDL school in Carlisle PA.

 

Seems like I’m driving around in the biggest hooptie loaner truck Millis has right now. Cracked front quarter panel, cab extender bent, no remotes, which is fine because there is no video card in dvr. Engine brake cuts off at 35 I’m used to it cutting out at 25, engine brake doesn’t even work with cruise on. Lucky enough to pick it up in Trenton where they are collecting all the 19s for trade in. I have been spoiled.
