I called on a Landstar load that was posted on ITS and I told the guy I wasn't setup yet and he gave me this whole speech on how it could take weeks to get you approved and hours to do their ####ing paperwork. When I asked him why it's such a pain in the ### with landstar and a simple carrier packet with everyone else he didn't have much of an answer.
I don't know that it takes weeks but it does take time to get approved at Landstar for some reason.
After you take care of your packet and do everything you're supposed to do you need to call them and follow up and make sure that you are active in their system.
With me somehow they had me in their system but they made a mistake and did not finish it on their end so it was kind of a pain in the you-know-what.
